to wish

By witch

i wish for silence

i hope for peace

choke
choke, my reflection, on your counterparts' decisions
wither
wither in your digressions
death is lighter than a feather
while your reality is drowning in depression
do you dream off succession

taking over where the real one fails?

yes i know you see the fear on the wall
as it slowly cascades over the glossy back lit display
but im sorry, the door still holds the nothingness at bay
so sit there and pray you film of life
you replica of reality
doll of perfection

introspection

what you dont know is though you may be perfect, perfection is made up of flaws
life is judged by what it costs
what is lost

what we dont have is what makes life worth it

so wish as you may
wish as you might
that star in the window grant no wishes for you tonight
you cant wish on a reflection
you shouldnt wish for misconception

but here, i've a wish for you
that you never know the truth
that you stay wishing you were me
and that, between the two of us

the experience stays fleetingly obscure
totally reclused

No matter what side of the window we are on, it always seems brighter on the other side of it. Very thoughtful and very nicely penned. Thank you for posting!

never try and find perfection behind a screen..behind others words..only you can inspire yourself to move on ..and in moving will fall and get up... dreaming it off will only allow you to wallow in with all the rest not flying..not free
