Melt

By The Silent Pendulum

I freeze
My veins are frozen
No blood
A heart inside pulses less strong
This icy prison holds me firm
I am aware of my state
The life has halted, it marches no longer
I am not yet dead
I still hope
For my fire to re-ignite
And I am yet dead
For deep within
The flame, it now relights
