My Little Black Box

By Liquid_Chaos87

In my little black box
I capture your lies
From all the hurt
Your heart slowly dies

All alone in the dark
Your words have faded
There’s no time to relapse
Your soul becomes jaded

In my little black box
Your fears are set free
Selling false hope
With a broken key

Unlocking the latch
Your secrets have spoken
The anger in your eyes of
Haunting memories awoken

In my little black box
You have no one to trust
The emptiness inside
Feeds on all the disgust

You try so hard to run
With nowhere to hide
In your distracted mind
The deception collides

Luring you deep inside the dark
Hearing the echo as the latch locks
Feeling relief as I throw away the key
Forever trapped in my little black box

Emotional stuff. Nice symbolism and images. I feel you're very to the point of the issues which you describe. Enjoyable. :)
