Loser

By Adam

So I was driving down the road and the song "graduation" came up on my ipod, I got thinking in less than two months I will graduate from my university. In all the time I was at school I really only went to three parties, now that in its self is not too bad, i dont enjoy alcohol as much as some people.

So is that Last night I went to a party from a college a little drive away and had a ton of fun just haning out, people were cool, nice and went out of their way to be friendly. To day when hearing that song I realized that I'm one of those people that have no friends. Sure I have people I know and can hang with from time to time but seeing all those kids from the party (my cousins school so i knew him thats why i was there) made me relize I worked 60-80 hours a week (+full in time school) from my freshman year through all of my school and summes until last thursday (9/26ish/2010). As a senior I truly have made NO friends.

Is my life going to amount to anything when I had four years at a university and I dont have one true friend? How will I make it as a young manager? Am I going to ever find a wife if I cant find a simple friend? I sure have a bunch of stuff to start thinking about.

Try not to view it as being a loser though. You simply know what you want and who you'd rather be friends with. Knowing what you want and not going with what others want is a rare trait. Be proud of the person you are. Stand for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone.
