Bite Birds as They Feed
By Bella Butchery
Bite Birds as they feed
Her curves upon ashen fountains
Horizon
Horizon
She waits for you
in a dream
Pass upon her lips
Torn on the sides
By
the seams
Just to give us a single moment
before it seems
We are both afraid
Different
Shades of grey
Still make shadows
Wrapped in sheets
Hold hands
With
fingertip flashlights
You tiny ghosts
A golden seed
Little angel
On
music and love
We fast
He
who splits blue seas
Be your pumpkin boy
Spitting seeds
And
the one
Who bleeds

It's been a joy watching your writing evolve over the years, the many shapes and faces its taken... yet always wept by a familiar heart. Beautiful, morose, and phantom-like... it's good to see you posting again.
