le coeur veut ce que veut le coeur

By JingaBelle

You sit there wrapped in silence
as thick as the miles between us
that have built this castle wall
I am so ready to climb
I don't need Rapunzel's hair to win this
I just need a sign, a smile, a word
that it's worth it to put my heart in chains
or I will tear it apart
trying to get to you
I don't understand how you can be so sterile
atop a castle a million miles away
while I sit here wrapped in my own silence
trying to reason with a heart
that only knows how to conquer
le coeur veut ce que veut le c?ur
but I won't tear myself apart
to save a dream I created alone
