I'll Be There Soon
By Kittykat
To Daddy from your unborn baby:
I can't wait to meet you Daddy,
I'm growing bigger every
hour now,
My finishing touches are almost done,
I'll get safely
to you some how.
I hear you when you talk to Mommy,
Your
voice sounds very kind,
I can't wait for you to hold me,
Will
you tell me those things called nursery rhymes?
I know I have
a big brother,
He sounds so big and strong,
I hope he will show
me stuff,
Like, what is right and wrong?
I know Mommy
loves you so much,
It's right here on her heart,
I'm so glad
it's almost time to be born
Then we'll all be together, and never
be apart.

It sounds wonderful! 5 years later and I wonder how it's going. Great poem, filled with emotion. Keep writing!

The desire felt from this piece sounds familiar, if in fact I relate to this how I "think" I do. The hope and expectation voiced - with its missing counterpart...completion...of course this is a beautiful piece, but to me resounds a song of loss and wishes...
