Damien

By Bulvine

I am the full moon's owl

I am the lone wolf's howl

I am the lions mane

behind his ever watchful gaze

Black and crimson in the breeze

carved from granite

light as wind on his feet

Steely eyes

guardian mind

The wolf cries from deep inside

Black and crimson color my dreams

running wild, longing to be free

his spirit lives in the wind and trees

takes me to places no one sees

we have a single heart beat

Black and crimson

allusive as wishes

truth in rare glimpses

Black and crimson

we will meet again

I spend eternity waiting for him

Damien

I am the trees

I am the wind

I am the long winters end

when spring begins

I am everywhere

I am nowhere

I am children's wishes and prayers

I am the distant star

I am the warmth in your heart.
