can you here me now?

By silent_screams

I talk and talk
and spill my
heart all over your
unlistening world
i speak louder and you
turn down my recorded voice
i write with
all this firey intense fury
for you to glance over and
ramble out a line or two of
nonsense
nothing that matters to me
nothing that matters to me
should i scream
and throw the phone against the wall
busting it into millions of
pieces scattered on our carpet
like my heart - this was the start
if i were to scream
and unleash this uncontrollable creature
within me breaking down
your walls of sanity
would you hear me?
would my feelings finally be permanently impressed
upon you or would
it just be another hour of total maddness
to be forgotten and dismissed
like the last four years
of our life?
Or would it take me again
to a teary sunrise
with eachother wrapped in eachothers embrace?
Or was all of it a meager childhood
fairy tale in the
mind of this monster i've become.
