Don't Need Another Angel
By Daryl Bracken
When they told me my child was dying I found religon
Down on my
knees I prayed for the first time
Dear God
Why does my child
have to die
there are so many with evil in their hearts
and yet
you do not take them, they even hide in the church
This child only
know a parents love, this child My child
Please God: You don't need
another Angel
I cried through the night
ashamed that I could
do nothing for my child
The life that I had brought into this world
Was dying, was it something I did that caused this
Did I commit
some Sin that cost my child's life
I got no answers, No relief was
forth coming
I grew more angry as days passed and my child life grew
weaker
the doctors saying that my childs heart was failing
It
was in the hands of God the preacher said
So I found my Knees once
more
GOD
This is my child, He is my angel
I have not had
enough time with my child
You will have him forever, Please you Don't
Need Another angel
Then something happened, Doctor's told me they
found a heart
they rushed my child to surgry and for hours I sat alone
I wondered if my prayers were answered and i guess they where
But someone had to die, for my child to live
God took another angel,
in doing so my child survived
My child will grow old now and live
a life unknown
But one thing I am sure of, God Don't Need another
Angel
It was I who needed one.

crushing.... I can not even understand the turmoil, the stress... the fear. Unbelievable. Well, without your writing this... I'd be so much more in the dark about it all. Thanks for sharing, and welcome to the Valley. Glad there was an angel for you.
