Rambling #2
By The Shattered Heart
If you see a * at the end of something, look at the bottom
of the entry for definition
The world is filled with all sorts
of people. Quiet people, loud people, shy people, outgoing people, lazy
people, energenic people, sane people, insane people, innocent people,
guilty people. Some people are short, fat, skinny, tall, muscular, non
muscular, actors/actresses, non actors/non actresses, talented, non talented.
You know what they all have in common? They are all judgemental. Yes, I
know I spoke about this in Ramblings
# 1 but I want to talk about it again. You can say you don't judge
a book by it's cover but let me tell you something. It's a lie! I got a
fortune cookie yesterday from lunch that read "Telling someone the truth
is a loving act."
Well, here goes the truth, those of you who
say you are not judgemental, are the worst judges out there. I'll admit,
I'm judgemental. I try not to be but I am. I tend to feel "vibes" or
"auras" from people and if I get a bad "vibe" or "aura" from them, I automatically
think they are a bad person and tend to avoid them. I do still give them
the benefit of a doubt (or however the saying goes) but 9 times out of
10 those bad "vibes" or "auras" tend to be acurate. You can believe what
you want. It's never right to judge people if you don't know them. Like
people who are over weight, I being one of them, don't like walking around
the corner hearing a fat joke.
If you want to make a joke about
someone, make it about yourself. If you want to hurt someone's feelings,
hurt your own. If you think you are all big and bad, step back and remember,
there is always going to be someone bigger and badder than you are that
can whoop your butt. If you play online, talk to peopl through messengers,
or voice chats like Ventrilo (vent), remember to be curtious. If someone
tells you something you said hurt their feelings, apologize to them and
move on. They are human and have feelings. For example, I have a friend,
(I'll call him Fred to keep him safe though he doesn't get on DP), he wants
to learn about becoming a dom* in RL. He spoke to a mutual
friend of ours who is a dom. (I'll call him Dog he isn't part of DP either)
Dog tells Fred that 'he was probably the fat boy in school who had his
lunch money stolen."
Now that hurt Fred alot. He was just looking
for help, a mentor of sorts to help him leanr, to become a dom but Dog
hurt Fred's feelings bad. It wasn't nice of him and he never did apologize.
So this is an example of what I'm talking about. Everyone is judgmental
and no one seems to realize how harmful it can be to others. Take this
as you will, I will continue to voice my opinions and how I see things.
If you don't like what I have to say, then get over it. It's a free world,
freedom of speech.

relationship. (yes, it does still exist out there)
