Mirror On The Wall

By Lethie

Hands of glowing white
touching the rotting wall
leaving behind haunted hope

A mask ripped from the face
burnt hands gripping tightly to lost tears
scratching death into the glass

Blood falls from a blank painting
Insanity crawls along the mind
Empty lies hold truth

Dark dreams answer prayers
Demons dance on my tongue
Flesh slashed from my heart

Taste a sinner's doubt
Air stuck in the throat
Drowning in your hell

Knives carve psalms
Arching into his hands
Believing the narcissitic truth

Promise me... Hope
The mirror laughs

Promise me...Life
The mirror scorns

Promise me...Worship
The mirror cracks

There you are
Standing infront of it
Bleeding
Screaming

Your the mirror on the wall

    Very surreal and dark.
