You love me like pills

By melodies revisited

You pop my heart like pills
Addicted to what I do
Nothing left to say between us
As you climb my window sill
And look at me like you do
Hoping no one sees us

With your deep, pleading eyes
You beg me to let you in
The wall I built crumbles and dies
As you let me give way to sin

...

Hot and sweaty, even in the cold
Of the snowy weather that abounds
We part again, only to lust for the other
This time, you seem to be so bold
As to say what you think sounds
Good to me, your secret lover

"I love you," you mutter between
Heaving breaths, they catch in you
And I have now, for the last time, seen
All I need to learn the awful truth

...

We are not as you belive us to be
I don't love you the way you love me
