Pastel of a Wooden Shade

By Eric

A fallen ember
A calling cinder
In burning woods
Of ash
And a failing winter

I long to see
The coast of thee
But i am so lately
Stuck in eternity
So freely stuck
In neutral

A fallen timber
A calling card
In frozen waste
Of haste
And a failing need to be.

I like the way you wrote this piece. It is a little unusual to me, but I have a strange connection to it. It feel much the same sometimes.
