Would you prefer a lie or the truth?

By Qurious

If the answer truly bothers you
Should truth be your initial choice
Given time to think it through
May still your ready voice

you may prefer that small white lie
and slumber free and clear
for surely you would toss all night
in horror and in fear

ask again when you've weighed your choice
decided on your path
trust me, hear me, heed my voice
the truth can bring the wrath

very clever with a neat rhyme scheme. it was almost like reading a surgeon's general style warning on a magic 8 ball response but that was the absolute charm in it...well written!

the weight of absolute truth is roughly a 7x3 pile of displaced earth. some get it spoon fed, some get it shoveled. nicely done.
