Thanks to all who volunteer

By DarkPaladine

People needed help and you answered the call
Life's were in danger and you risked it all.
People needed clothes,shelter,and money and
food and you answered the call.
People needed Doctors,Nurses Preachers Fireman
Police and you all volunteered.
People needed power and water and trash
removal and roofs put back on homes and you
all volunteered.
I needed help to get out from a terrible hell
and you were there with a kind hand and a
loveing heart and a sm
ile that said it will
get better.
We needed help and you volunteered to help us
get back on our feet and to help us start
over.
I was a victiam of Katrina and you volunteered to give me strength to see that
I was alive and I was strong enough to get
better.
You came from different towns city's and
states and I thank you for your time.
I did not ask for help, but you gave it freely.
I do not know your name or where you came
from, but I will alaways remember all who came
to the coast and volunteered to help us get
back on our feet.
Thank you all who helped for your all great
VOLUNTEERS.

I like to hope that as long as there are disasters there will be people who help put the pieces back together and get those in the heat of it back up on their feet. Thank you for sharing.
