Grey World

By Lethie

Why does the minds eye

Drip sorrow upon this

our world drowning it within a dreary grey

suppressing all heart felt kisses

burning away fruitless cover

That hides the ugly core within

This world is not what you believe in

In truth it is a hall

full of doors slamming and opening

No matter wich way you go

Your hart could get snagged on a nail

Or trip over a loose board

So why bother hidding your tears behind a cold crystal mask

Melt within your silver maze

lean towards the light that spills from the cracks

But beware for he has found you

The jekyll he's here

To eat you up

And make you dispear
