Feel The Sting

By Silent Assassin

Note: I had thrash metal (fast music) on my mind and around the time period of where my character takes place. I have been meaning to write this for a while and I have finally had time to do so. There are still corrections needed to be made so, keep that in mind.

Verse 1
Wait for the right decision’s call
Preparation is the key
Intensity builds
The swords are held
Looking forward to the final kill

Verse 2
Battle’s ahead
Ready to go
Smell of blood is in the air
Sharpen the blades
Over the fire’s blaze
It’s what has been embraced

Chorus
Look around
Everywhere
The enemy’s there
Don’t falter now
It could be your final breath
If you allow yourself to
Feel The Sting

Look around
Everywhere
The enemy’s there
Don’t falter now
It could be your final breath
If you allow yourself to
Feel The Sting

Verse 3
The moment’s here
Minds are clear
Mission’s to succeed
Failure will only mean
Your own fatality

Verse 4
The fog clears
The swords are raised
Straight to the sky
Now awaits the battle cry
For those about to die

Chorus
Look around
Everywhere
The enemy’s there
Don’t falter now
It could be your final breath
If you allow yourself to
Feel The Sting

Look around
Everywhere
The enemy’s there
Don’t falter now
It could be your final breath
If you allow yourself to
Feel The Sting
You will feel the sting
