Snowflake Eyes and A Charcoal Heart
By Soldier Of Silence
The day we first met,
You captured my soul,
My heart that I let,
Under your control.
The simplest things,
Like the color of your hair,
The torn up jeans,
You wore everywhere.
Dimples in your cheek,
The intent in your stare,
The way that you speak,
You stole all my air.
Three years later,
You still have my heart,
My passion is greater,
Than it was from the start.
I dream of your touch,
That you give to another,
I hate him so much,
That stupid mother ****.
But he makes you smile,
And that’s all that matters,
While I waste in denial,
My heart in tatters.
With your snowflake eyes,
And a charcoal heart,
Recorded lies,
That came from the start.
You never loved me,
Not once from day one,
Now I’m on my knee,
My head weighs a ton.
So many thoughts,
We shared in the night,
Now too many shots,
Another day, another fight.
I hope that he’s worth it,
This man that you chose,
I’m gonna get lit,
“Here’s to the hoes!”

Very nicely composed. A true shame really but life has a way to take good care of us at the end, don't you think? Thank you for sharing :)
