Soldier's Reminder

By Soldier Of Silence

If love is a battlefield,
Then what we have,
Is an international war,
With all guns blazing.

A tender and direct assault,
On each others heart and soul,
That no armor can stop,
And only one weapon can pierce.

Love.

Of all things beautiful,
I hate it the most,
The most painful of emotions,
Producing hate of epic amounts.

Terrified of being alone,
Sick of being complete,
Thundering silence gathers,
On the horizon of solitude.

Fear.

Leave me alone,
My mind can’t handle,
Your kind of love,
I’m scared of forever.

What does your mind,
Have anything to do with it,
Pick yourself up soldier,
And dust yourself off.

Anxiety.

Step up to the ramp,
And dive off,
Into the growing sinking,
Eternal abyss.

You chose your fate,
You love her,
She waits quietly,
In the hot LZ.

Stay sharp.
