Demon in me

By darkcoldplace

there is an evil that lives here

a demon in this house

he is everywhere

i see it in the mirror

i break the glass

maybe it will go away

but it is still here

i run

he follows

i scream

he roars

i cry

he laughs

i claw at my eyes not to see

but i hear him

i dig into my ears not to listen

but i feel him

i cut into the flesh

but he is still there

there is no escape

no relief

from this demon

from this evil

from myself

Once to read the words, the second time to read it faster as if someone was telling me a horrible tall tale to see if I was stoned... like Brian Griffin testing Chris to see if he was wasted. I love it! Dude, you gotta write some more minf ****s! Cray-z!

That's a tough entity to outrun. This kept me hooked from line to line and I can definitely relate to the content. Thank you for sharing :)
