Demon in me
By darkcoldplace
there is an evil that lives here
a demon in this house
he is everywhere
i see it in the mirror
i break the glass
maybe it will go away
but it is still here
i run
he follows
i scream
he roars
i cry
he laughs
i claw at my eyes not to see
but i hear him
i dig into my ears not to listen
but i feel him
i cut into the flesh
but he is still there
there is no escape
no relief
from this demon
from this evil
from myself

Wow. I read it twice. Once to read the words, the second time to read it faster as if someone was telling me a horrible tall tale to see if I was stoned... like Brian Griffin testing Chris to see if he was wasted. I love it! Dude, you gotta write some more minf ****s! Cray-z!

That's a tough entity to outrun. This kept me hooked from line to line and I can definitely relate to the content. Thank you for sharing :)
