Flower of the North
By Mithiras
(This was a poem dedicated to my penpal in Sweden)
A Flower of the North
A Gem of the snow
A kindness spread forth
So much I did not know
A soldier she was
She upheld the warrior creed
A man she loves
Struggling to succeed
An unborn Child in need
She was there for her
Not thinking about greed
An outstanding rolemodel for her
All Together they fall together
Falling with each other
Falling happily like snow
Falling in love like no other

I got a cool image of gems in the snow, from that one line. I bet they'd stand out like you describe her to do as well.
