Brother

By Vampixie

I always thought that it was okay,
what you did to me.
I thought that's what they all did.
It wasn't until Year 8
that I realised it wasn't right,
it was wrong.
Very wrong.
The saga of my best friend's
first boyfriend
was all too familiar to me,
although I didn't know why.
You’re in prison now,
for something else-murder, I think.
No-one knows what you did to me.
They won’t find out unless you tell them.
I want to run away from you, but
I can’t hide, because I know
You’ll find me, wherever I go,
when you get out.
Then the nightmare will begin again.

After something like that, I know it's hard to know who to trust. But when you find someone you trust again, you might want to share your story. Friends can be very protective at times of people who endanger them. If you're looking for advice, I can probably give you some.
