Scared of You

By Argentum

You frighten me
Because you barely know me
But you see into my soul

You know so little of me
And yet... you love me
Every part of me

Like a great teacher, or a mother
You know what I need
Even when I don't always know
What's best for me

I'm shocked, really

I'm not sure how
But you know me
Without knowing me
And you love me anyway

And it scares me... but I'm not sure that that's bad...

wow... I could wish to hear these words from one such person that I 'know'... that last line, in fact, I can almost prove I've heard... if only. Thanks for sharing this personal piece, as just the relation to the feeling overwhelmed me.
