Omnipotent
By Lethie
I stand in the crowd
one preacher screams jesus
A women gives
up her child
broken glass in the park
A singer sings of nirvana
I stand in the crowd
one monk prays for a savior
A boy
pulls the trigger to be a man
an old womam no longer rembers me
A boy cuts his arm to feel his soul
I stand in the crowd
A men crys allah to the blood red sky
A yound women crys over a
grave
A soldier no longer stands tall
A mens cracked mask falls
and smiles
I stand in the crowd
A baby held over fire
screams in the night ignored for normalicy
A room all white takes
over memory
happiness a stale yellow pill
I stand in the
crowd
watching like god
a soul pierced with woe
sorrow
the drug of angels
I stand in the crowd
As you blame me
for your lost
A women over her sons body screams up to my throne
hope
kindness
I no longer understand
war
hate
rape
drugs
depression
death
I understand
I watched
I know
because I stand in the crowd

The imagery in this along with its message is pretty intense. Like snapshots of atrocities quickly flashed across a screen. The ending is the best. Great poem.
