Such Pliant Fingers

By Efamilia

Toymaker, toymaker
Make me a box
Lend me a window
To a Hell without locks

I’ll treat you with misery
I’ll treat you with fear
Your apathetic-suffering
My friends will endear

We’ll play on broken heartstrings
Together; you and I
The melody of misery
The pain that can never die

The orgasm of suffering
We’ll wrench from the soul
As the Lamb gave his life
Only to garner Death’s new foal

And they will beg for mercy
Yes, they will pray for life
That wretched harbour of meaning
Philosophical-madness rife!

Free will for the foolish
Free wine for the drunk
The Fallen read the contract
The hypocrisy had always stunk

The very God they pray to
Is the one that keeps them blind
It is pain and fear, not love
That keep flesh and soul in bind

Make me an offer Eve
I bleed for your will
To have just a taste
And bleed their hearts still

*My tribute to Hellraiser!!!
