Victory of the Dreamer
By brainbent
Rain has but to fall into whatever life it lands.
No discrimination, no confusion, callous to the dreams of man.
Let gravity rule our journey as we careen unto our fate.
Joy, fear, confusion, may our emotions not abate.
Stallions live to run and birds take life in flight.
Then I shall chase illusion .
.... These dreams have truth tonight.
Whether the hand of time be heavy or the wrinkle of smiles be deep.
May character impress upon us, then peace be best at sleep.
Thunder it shall burst then rain has but to fall.
But a quiet spirit of dreams will come to conquer all
