A Days

By Ghost One

It’s a dazey day to say the least.
Slow and Subtle. Calm and sweet.

Not too hot and not too cold,
Yet filled with a haze so thick and bold.

Where I am going I really can’t say…
Yet sooner or later I’ll find my way.

Wandering around with the world on my mind…
Words on the wind begin to unwind.

Forces within push and strain…
As I move against the grain.

Walking around with my head in the clouds.
Still Firmly planted, My feet on the ground.

Head held high. Thoughts so far…
I’m lost to the skies and dreaming of stars.

Trying to find my way in life.
I waste my time on stress and strife.

Let it go and wash it all away…
And carry on towards a brand new day.

It certainly holds a nice beat and flow, and may that new day be better than the last, always. Well written.
