The Moon
By Berry Fantastic
Her eyes are like the stormy sea
The clouds are cotton candy dreams
They twirl, they dance, they flicker now
The huntress moon is on the prowl
Will her grey eyes find me here
Hidden in a shroud of tears
She blinks and raindrops spark the earth
She sighs the winds of death and birth
The sea reflects her starburst skin
The moon of love and lust and sin

I like the way the measure of each line softens the strike of the end rhyme... and the content itself is mystical, longing perhaps, very gentle in sentiment... an enjoyable lil write, thanks.
