The Deep Girl, The Deep Boy
By Argentum
There's a girl deep on the inside,
Who's crying for attention.
From the boy on her outside.
Her soul is swimming in blue.
She's lonely and confused.
How does she make him notice her?
Exactly what does she do?
She cries:
Look at me; see me, please.
See me; save me.
Free me, from me.
Even though you're on the outside,
Look in at me.
There's a deep boy on the outside,
And he's terrified of the girl,
Living inside his mind.
He's known of her forever.
He knows not what to do.
Who is the girl inside him,
Trying to find her way through?
He says:
I see; you inside me.
I'm drowning; save me.
Free me, from me.
I know you're there, for when I see myself,
You're looking back at me.
