Slip / My Broken Hearted King

By ArtemisticSin

Slip

And now I've found my prince charming
Mirror reflecting and stepping though
With smile so disarming
Although all I seem to see is you

Rejected and broken
I keep coming back for more
Treat me bad, treat me worse
Treat me like your dirty whore

Just the perfect topic
For my shallow soul
Just the perfect boy
Breaking me so whole

And I know it's wrong
And it feels so very right
I know it can't be
But I can't stop the fight (in me)

You don't care
I'm loved elsewhere
I should give up
Please shut the fuck up

Just say we can
It will all just end
In bloody tears
And stupid fears

And why can't I let go
I'm the only one wanting this
I have better back at home
Why can't I let you go?

My Broken-Hearted King

My beauteous one
So full of life
Calm yourself
Take away my strife

It's such a burden
So take away my pain
I know you channel it
Right into the drain

But enough of me
Let's talk of you
What troubles faced
That separate us two

I know you sleep
With twisted a mind
On this pillow in which
You sometimes cried

And I see fading
Darkening, dimming
Slowly shading
Finally filling

All the details
Fall into proper place
Perspective is shown
Enlightenment you can't replace

Tear my heart
String by string
Falling down
My broken-hearted king
