Broken Memory

By Templer

I can't seem to recall your smile,
I believe it was so fair.
But I remember your anger,
And how you never cared.

Your laugh is but a faded blur,
Gone with the slightest gust.
I will never forget your screams,
Between us there was no trust.

Now you are nothing more to me,
Just another broken memory.

Your touch has left my aching skin,
The cold has finally set right in.
Though your tears I taste forevermore,
I game I cannot seem to win.

Now your love has gone,
It chills me to the bone.
Your hate has set up root,
In our humble home.

Now you are nothing more to me,
But just another broken memory.
