Les Miserables

By Waiting for a Sign

Très miserable
Nous sommes
Les Miserables,
Les Miserables

Aujourd'hui;
Today, things edge farther away from okay
Time is slipping and we're progressively getting worse

et Demain
We'll do this all again;
Dans ennui*
Lies misery

Anxiety and a steep dismay,
The fear keeps climbing inside
As you seem to slowly lose control of your mind
But it's okay;
The feeling is blind
And will only last for some time;
Mon ami,
You will be fine
Tes amis et le mien,
They will be fine;
We will be...

The days grow vapid
And ecstasy grows weak,
Vigor wanes
And the atmosphere grows dimmer each day
Your glossy eyes
Are beclouded by the haze
Like fog in mirrors,
Reflectant of the growing condition in which you lie;
The growing hysteria inside...

Apathy hangs in the atmosphere
From preceding and potentially, succeeding weeks
Of all things weary,
And I must get away so I can breathe...

But it is merely
A midnight in November
Skimming dusk,
A rippling of the surface of the moon--
But we must wait
Until the break of dawn
When we can be set free,
When we can move again,
When we can breathe...
(And until then,)

Très miserable
Nous sommes
Les Miserables,
Les Miserables x 2

And it is merely
Un minuit en Novembre
And moods are growing somber--
And we must get away so we can breathe
We must get away so we can...

    Haha, a song/poem/thingy I wrote last night in both french and english (but I'm only in French 1, so bare with me xD) It has something do with something that's been happening lately in the city, and affecting virtually everyone... Go to a website called free translation for help.
