Perhaps time is a imaginay friend.

By WhoIAM

While it drives us,
holds us,
kicks us,

time is nothing.
yet, it is everything.

As human beings we must ignore it
or else we might as well give up.

yet,
as I forget myself
this evening
drinking
thinking
drinking

one can not help but factor it into play.

we all play this game
we all hope for more in a life time.
we all dance upon insignificant victories.

we are but sand,
and while time is a part of us,

We might as well call it steve;
and play games with it in the dark
or else go completely mad.

I'm being a hassle to you and repeating the same things over and over about your poetry. But I really liked the stanza: we are but sand waiting for the tide. Well not the stanza but you know. Insignificant future glass. Mmmmmm. Cowboy poetry for drunks.
