The Dark Deal

By Damon Tarloth

There must be more...
The sequence is key,
It's been done before,
Seek out the knowledge,
Study the lore, Walk the path,
Through the forbidden door...

The Time Is Near... The Ritual Is Clear!---"This Echoes Silently In Your Mind"

The graveyard is where I begin,
As luck leaves, The mist rolls in,
Sudden chills, Instantly fills,
Bloody images, Horrific kills,
Take control, Don't lose your nerve,
There's nothing here, Control your fear...

- CHORUS -
You're always sear...ching... for.....
A little bit more!
You hear the Howl...s in.. the nigh...t
As darkness engulfs the light,
Maybe there's a way, To alter the deal,
I'm the only one, That can cross the veil
- CHORUS ENDS -

Take the book, Repeat thy words,
Night of the Dead, Midnight I read,
Dig up a corpse, the price is paid,
The gifts will be mine, After the deal is made...
Open the coffin, Avert your eyes,
Silent screams, Tortured cries,

The Time Is Near... Nothing To Fear!---"This Echoes Silently In Your Mind"

Forsake his name,
Cut, Bleed, Summon is made,
The evil will spread, Sign the deed,
Accept your gifts, Now he's freed,
The sickness spreads,
When they are dead,

The Time Is Near... Control Your Fear!---"This Echoes Silently In Your Mind"

The next part I didn't know,
Why must it be now, This can't be so,
The legend said,
Offer a life, Or take a soul,
The script of another should fulfill,
Pay the price, Seal the deal,

- CHORUS -
You're always sear...ching... for.....
A little bit more!
You hear the screa...ms in.. the nigh...t
Paralyzed from fright!
Maybe there's a way.. To change the tide,
Give back the gifts, So no one will die
- CHORUS ENDS -

You finally understand there's no where to hide,
When the monster lives deep inside...
Death is here to settle the score,
Why did you ask for so much more...
The question was.. Always for you, And now you know,
Which will you choose to honor the toll,
Give up your life or give up your soul...

The Time Is Near... Now Controlled By The Fear!---"This Echoes Silently In Your Mind"

The Evil Grin, Broken lies,
No remorse in those char black eyes,
Far to late you realize,
The trap was set, There's no way out,
The terms will be met,
Or it's your life... That will be forfeit...

- CHORUS -
You're always sear...ching... for.....
A little bit more!
You hear the screa...ms in.. the nigh...t
As darkness engulfs the light,
Maybe there's a way... You know that's a lie,
The price will be paid, Someone has to die
- CHORUS ENDS -

Flash, Memories clash,
All turns slow, The end speeds near,
Fear, Blur, The final moments become crystal clear,
Make the wrong choice,
It all ends here...

The Time Is Near... You're Consumed By The Fear!---"This Echoes Silently In Your Mind"

Your life will be spared, But you are no longer whole,
You thought you had it all, Just like the fool,
No... Never... Forsake thy name, Losing Control,
Deliver their souls, Here is the offer,
I give you now, A fruitless endeavor...
As you will soon learn... That.. Life.. Is.. Short.. But Death Is Forever...
