Neptune's Only Daughter

By Virgils Vigil

Abandoned in sand
To underwater command.

A mind slowly floods
With thoughts of cold-blood.

Liquid Sapphires seeping.
Consciousness now creeping

Away; layrnges hollow,
Can't help but swallow

Mouthfuls of saltwater.
Neptune's only daughter

Has come to sing you to sleep:
Melodic tides ever deep.

That. . .was beautiful. The wording is so beautiful here! Perfect content too. The sea has always seemed to have poetic ties, to me. Great combonation you've given us here. Write on:)
