- "Very very dark indeed. Many different views of this. I agree with Rowen, this is one to come back to as after reading it now I feel as troubled as the man with the gun. I have not reached the clarity he has. I don't want him to hand her the gun. You leave the option for the reader to write their own ending. What a great piece."

- "I understood this completely. And although repulsed by the vision your words painted for me, I realize people are the same. And our shells hide deep inside what some would NEVER suspect. But some do have a different fiber in the ability to make the nonviolent choice when evil presents itself at our door. I have known first hand someone who didn't turn evil away. I am tormented wondering how/why they invite that guest into their home. This piece makes me anxious. Your ability to leave one with aftermath from reading your work is commendable. "

- "Excellent piece. Completely fulfilling read. And although I agree we have to learn to forgive ourselves...I believe pain comes from the fact there is still someone in our lives we haven't forgiven and healing won't be felt until we are able to do that. For some of us...there will never be healing. And so I join you with bloody knees. "
