The Last Goodbye

By Pitch Black Heart

The plane is leaving
I'm running late

One last kiss
At the gate

Off to a new world
It's time to go

Before I depart
I want you to know

I will be safe
I will be strong

I will come back
It won't be long

We share this love
And always will

When I return
I will fulfull

Your biggest hopes
And all your dreams

And I still promise
Although it seems

The time won't fly
It's with delay

I'll always love you
Day after day

And if i shall die
In the hot desert sand

I'll hold this ring
Still in my hand

Never scared
I will remain

Right here with you
I will sustain

My love forever
It will not fade

Forever standing
I'd never trade

So think of me
And do not cry

It's really not
The last goodbye

:( I remember this feeling. It's the worst feeling I felt when Mase went to Iraq. I'm so sorry anyone has to go through anything like this.
