CARING IS A DEATH SENTENCE(about nothing)
By TheDismantled
((
While pondering,
In the back of my reptilian brain.
I was subtly brought to my sub-conscience.
wondrously enthralled,
In the echoes and reverbs of my mind's eye.
))
always awake but still sleeping,
both sustain and delay working in time.
the spoils of wasted lives;
are made to fit,
playing rhythm and leads.
((
surpassing all the made up stuff, like....
"Primate brain"
"Mammalian brain"
and so on and so forth.
Till I traveled to where the sun is cold,
my own cranial universe.
))
the willing travel through their spheres of memory, shaped and timed.
the annals of history tell us,
all is well within a war's breath.
((
the people's silence worth more than gold.
and where,
caring is a death sentence.
so, I care.
))

Beautiful write as always my friend, this piece definitely carried a large supply of warmth to those who bare the cold. On a positive note, this did restore a little bit of faith in humanity for me, a wonderful read to start the day.
