Kill the body and the head will die.

By TheDismantled

the shaman yells and calls for guidance
withered ink-blot chasms,
the smoke spiraled hallucinogens,
tall tales in the old ways.

the commoners rejoice.
tomorrow,
the deceiver's spell shall be broken.

the witch doctor sighs,
ignorance breed,this common sense.
we confused with excellence,
what was referred to as patriotic vengeance.

he screamed this vicious invective:
a warning to those who know not,
ye leave the devil to dwell and plot.

we are victims of the perilous.
those who hide behind their misdirection,
will lead us to funeral pyres.
heed my words,
the wolves nip the heels of our better judgment.
this is a call to resist....

open thy eyes.
twitch thy hand.
shift thy weight and stand.
lift thy head.
shake the earth from thy robes.
it's time to call the devil home.

rise against the prophet,
it's time to wake......
it's time to wake.

Very powerful script. I felt as though thou-ouses preacher's emence voice multiplied and echoed through the taverns of an east indian noodle shop. I could almost see you speaking this in front of millions of pilgrams, as they listened intently.
