11:30

By Wren

I know how much it hurts you
I know how much you care
I know how much you want to say it
But you wouldn't dare

You know that I can't stop it
You know I just don't care
I know it drives you crazy
You've pulled out all your hair

I've done it for so long
It's at the point where it's just normal
But my body just can't take it
The numbness getting warmer

I don't know how long I'll be here
Any day now I could pass
My grades in school are dropping
Because I never go to class

My friends and family worry
I'm stealing money left and right
To buy more "medication"
I sneak out every night

But one day it all changes
I don't get out of bed
My mother tries to wake me
But it's now the time she dreads

She shakes me and yells my name
Hoping that I'll wake
She cries and calls my father
All the drugs, my life they take

My father calls the hospital
Paramedics rush to see me
There's nothing more that they can do..
