a christmas family
By to love a psycho
frightened little girl
hides in her big box
a ravenous look in eye
hungers for peace
of mind
sad drunken man
blindly falls past streets
no soul in eye
left to speak
for self
cold whore on corner
gets money for her sweets
blank stare in eye
not there
but gone
poor broken family
they never knew
or saw each face in eye
never then
or now

if ever someone could be consumed in a state of sorrow by mere words, this poem ripped tragedy throughout my heart.
