Looking up and at the ground

the part where you accused me of
apathy and joining the dearly departed.

we discussed substructures and profit margins.
threatened war and emancipation.
shot out warning flares and smoke signals
communicated with the enemy.

ground me out
with electrical wires and telephone towers.


burn up and ash
disintegrate into the air and
lungs you infiltrate
