Shards and Residue

By Mord

It's you who brings me to my knees
wallowing in distorted lonliness
Lazy, you deny to find out who I am
Through eyes that just dont give a dam

I wanted you within my introverted world
so you could see the whole of me
but you demolished my walls leaving me naked
while I draped you with all the good I have

You play me as your pawn
How sweet your sentiments taste
Blinded to the poison drippig off your tongue
Always to be the joker clinging to ones jest

It's you who brought me to my knees
I will not be, only to appease
You abandoned me far behind with
the heart you stole, useless, between my hands.

Ouch, such anger oozing between the cracks of well-placed alliterary constructs.
