The Night The Moon Shattered
By kiss of the dark
Lay your dead
whispers of treason in
my cold hands...
As I sleep,
I will
devour the
vocal lacerations
as my own...
and bleed for awhile
as they take shape
into my body,
and make my
eyes blurry.
Glass heart--a
sad, sad soul
severed completely
and lost forever
in the depths of you-
the sweetly vicious you.
The contaminated
pieces of what
was once my skin,
lay rotten in this
dark moor--
waiting still.
The heavy scent of you
pivots through the
black safety-pin forest,
and hits my lungs like
a silver bullet...
and my eyes open.
There he is,
a prince of darkness,
my bleeding ebony disaster.
His hair dances
with the frigid breeze,
in devastating, cautious
contour actions.
Hands warm,
they molest the
remains my body...
My face turns blue
for I cannot say
the words.
Simple fractions
taken away
from a life that was
once beautiful--
now is a crown of thorns
that crushes all the hope
out of the morning shine
of the sun--
Love shouldn't hurt...
...not like this.
As my tears slip
sideways through
the crevices of
my torn flesh,
he walks away
with a smile.
Electricity about
my limbs,
I cry out
and cause the moon
to shatter--
upon this forsaken
nightfall.
Milky moonbeams
pour onto the ground,
liquid luminescent embers,
Ivory tears
and opal blood
seep through the trees,
drip.drip.drip
and wash over my
dark, dark lover.
His face turns to mine,
(the wind beats against
the clash of the moon's
blood, aggressive ripples
borne)
My corpse
expressionism
tells the truth
I could never say.
I was already dead
when you found me,
and your kiss only
proceeded to bury me here.
Take your dark light,
and leave--
No one loved me ever,
not even you.
And so,
he bid farewell
as the lunar devastation
rained upon him--
covering the tears
that seemed to fall from
his eyes made of void.

this has a luscious taste to it, a sensual creation, creatively crafted...vividly drawing from a common feeling;i think, but taking that feeling to such a level that it shines originally. well spoken piece.

I realize the true beauty of darkness itself now. I never imagine such perfection could be achieved. You have my respect and my tortured dreams...
