Ocean Blossoms (she died in her sleep last night)
By kiss of the dark
She died in her sleep last night,
Because of her extreme thought
that birthed from blossoming
ocean flowers
*
They lushly sway
in the endless seas
of "what if's" and the
creation of wonder...
*
She drowned in the waters
waiting for the waves to
take her away from the
deranged shore of her reality.
*
A mermaid she was not
*
A soft sea creature she never was
*
But a lover, oh a lover...indeed she was born.
*
After years and years
of vividly painted dreams
of Eden's rivers and the
Mercurial waters of no-man's land,
she fell so far deep into
the thick lustful gravity of her sleep
her dreams and her wishes
became her demise.
*
[She died in her sleep last night,
Because of her extreme thought
that birthed from blossoming
ocean flowers,
The thought that her dreams could
take her away from her life,
just for an hourglass's worth of
sweet precious time,
if only she had known that
in dreamland,
sand was endless but life
was just a myth.]

Tremendous, unwavering romanticism lies beneath the woe and tragedy. .."if only she had known that in dreamland, sand was endless but life was just a myth." Poetry incarnate.

The core of this work is amazing. Very well crafted, and quite a sad/entangling tale. +FtF+
