pure like the driven snow

By cherietree

ive deleted my life on canvas,
my story,
my words,
my song
my dance that no one else can dance,

my beliefs that no one else can have,
my soul wont ever be whole,
im looking for the other half of that,

like swift waves on the sea,
or a child inoccently eating candy on the beach,
i want a love thats pure.

but i can never wash this girl clean,

never again.

Like putting out narthax candles, one at a time. Each one let's the shadow closer in. But this one, though simple, has alot of meaning to it. I only hope you find what you're looking for.
