I need to know if you’ll be there
When I call you in the middle of the darkest night
If I see no glimmer of the brightest light
When I find no reason to continue this winless fight
I need to know if I’ll see you shining when the time is finally right
I will need you to show me through to the mornings light
I want someone to lie next to in the of coldest nights
But I wonder if it’s worth the fight?
Hoping the sun will set and a journey will be set
On a forlorn full moon night
I gaze into the moons glory on this night
Seeing the reason why I fight
So I can maybe see you on another night
To finally have someone to hold
So that all is not forlorn
To hold your hand in the golden moon light
Where the stars shine so bright
