provoking love

By to love a psycho

The eye of the beholder has closed on me
Shutting out the infamy
Of everything I ever was
Shunning me from a hurt
That he provoked
Loves prick
Turning to spite
Too hurt emotionally
You turned on me
And now I take the blame
Burned into my being
As I drip with shame
The guilt and envy of your life
Eats inside of me
I just want to be
Without these horrid emotions
Holding love close
And shunning all the pain
From a hurt
That you provoked

It happens to everybody, and thus each time someone tries to write about it, they are labeled "cliche." This, however, avoids and, in fact, defies, such labels.
