One kiss
By AnGeLbLuEyEs1201
He walks in the door, slow and quiet
He knows exactly what he wants to say
He has practiced it a hundred times
Scared and sad he walks closer
People stare and whisper
He knows what they say
He knows they know what he did
He begins to cry as he gets closer to her
In his pocket he has a small box
In the box is a diamond ring
Small and gold just for her
He approaches her, his mind goes blank
He says he is sorry
He never meant to hurt her
He wants her to know he always loved her
He never loved anyone else
He begs for her forgiveness
He knows she won’t speak
No matter how loud he screams
She will never speak to him again
He pulls the ring out of his pocket
He puts it upon her finger
He kisses her on her forehead
Everyone stares, some in sorrow
Some in anger
He turns and walks away
Tears begin to fall down his cheek
They are closing the casket now
Soon they will place her in the ground
No more kisses, never an I do
He hates himself more with each step
He wishes he would have never kiss that other girl
Never had went home with her
If he hadn’t his one love would still be alive
She would not have slit her wrist
He blames himself
He cannot live with the guilt
He cannot live without her
As he is walking away he turns and looks one last time
He reaches in his pocket and grabs the gun
He tells everyone that he is sorry
He takes the gun out of his pocket
Places it against his temple
People run to stop him
But it is too late
He pulls the trigger and falls to the floor
People are staring, some scream
Some are in shock
Two lovers are now buried
Who knew that one kiss could lead to this
One kiss, two deaths
